Accessibility statement
We build this site to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where we fall short, we want to hear about it and fix it.
Our target
This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard is also the basis for Section 508 and for Texas state agency accessibility requirements, which matters because a large share of our visitors reach us from an agency network.
What we do
- Semantic landmarks on every page, with a skip link as the first focusable element
- Visible focus indication on every interactive control, including inside the admin portal
- Keyboard operation for all navigation, dialogs, and forms, with Escape closing overlays and focus returning to the trigger
- Text alternatives on meaningful images, and decorative images marked as such rather than given filler alt text
- Form fields with real labels, required fields marked in text as well as color, and errors announced to assistive technology
- Color contrast that meets AA for body text and interface text against its background
- Full support for prefers-reduced-motion: ambient animation and the assistant auto-open are both suppressed
- Layouts that reflow to 320px and remain usable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling of the page body
Known limitations
Some older blog posts were imported from a previous content system. We correct alt text and heading order on those as we find them, but a post published before the migration may still have gaps. Documents linked from this site that we did not author may not be fully accessible; ask us and we will provide the content in another format.
Report a barrier
If something on this site stops you from doing what you came to do, email Reqs@IntegrateUs.com or call (512) 948-3141. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and will tell you plainly whether we can fix it and when.
